Gaining elevation toward student life goals requires Clarity (defining where they want to go and who they want to be while getting there), Community (vital relationships with people who climb with them), and Competencies (life-skills and abilities to move beyond internal and external barriers).
Elevate provides the guidance to gain personal clarity through the development of a Basecamp Assessment and a strong community for positive, upward movement.
Our coaching strategy is built on 20 Core Life Skills. They are grouped into 5 primary categories. Students can have a great life plan and a solid community of support and guidance, but weak or missing personal competencies will leave them stranded at the base of mountains they want and need to climb.
The main categories in these Core Life Skills are listed below. Clicking on the logo will link you to a full definition of each competency and the kinds of skills we focus on in developing students and helping them gain elevation.
