Youth Mentor-Coaching Designed for Groups
Elevate has effective and scalable solutions to meet the needs of 6th-12th grade students. We call this solution Basecamp.

Basecamp Group Coaching
Elevate Youth Solutions works effectively to socially and emotionally stabilize students and help them grow in core life skills, problem-solving, and critical thinking. We do this through Basecamp coaching groups held on middle and high school campuses during the regular school day. Our model serves up to 12 students per group and are facilitated by two mentor-coaches.
HOW IT WORKS
Basecamp groups begin with students completing a self-reported assessment where they identify their current satisfaction levels across 4 areas including Connections, Intellect, Fitness, and Emotions. Weekly group meetings are organized with up to 12 students. One or two students are directly coached each week while their peers observe the process. The coaches lead engagement activities, provide coaching interactions, and guide peer advising opportunities.
Students receive Basecamp journals, swag items, and either a backpack, hoodie, or similar value participation award at the end of the group process.
At the end of each 12-15 week session, the student’s self-assessment is combined with the coach’s notes to create a dashboard for school counselors and administrators. The dashboard shows individual student progress and can render results showing aggregate improvement scores from single or multiple groups.
