Youth & Parent Life Coaching

Why youth life coaching?
Teaching youth to manage fear, resolve conflicts, develop integrity, grit and follow through along with finding their identity and having true contentment are essential for success and happiness. What most parents and educators experience is the frustration of communicating these skills to adolescents who are overstimulated and truncate communication into emojis and endlessly evolving acronyms.
Elevate believes in equipping youth so they can have the tools necessary to manage life and attain success, but we also believe that we must create new and effective paths to transmit these tools. Life coaching for adults has become one of the most effective means for people to identify barriers and create plans and steps that they personally own and implement for growth and improvement. Our program modifies the life coaching model to the needs, learning styles and capacities of teenagers; bringing life-coaching benefits to them. We also engage peer, family systems and experiential learning methods to reinforce and integrate a clear set of vital life, character and social skills.
Our youth mentor-coaching begins with the creation of an individualized Basecamp Assessment for each student that puts them on a direct path to becoming the individuals they want to be. The assessment is administered 3 times through a typical group session (12-14 weeks). These assessments combined with the individualized and group coaching helps youth understand their needs and goals and form their own action steps to move toward them. This allows our mentor-coaches the ability to tailor specific programs that give our students the supportive environments and effective guidance to attain those goals.
Parent Coaching
Young parents regularly claim that an instruction manual was not included with the birth of their babies; they often feel lost trying to meet the needs of a little human who cannot communicate what they feel or need. That lost feeling resurfaces in huge proportions when children enter adolescence and communication seems to collapse back into infant-like grunts and noises.
At Elevate we understand the importance of helping parents develop the skills necessary to actively influence and guide their own children. Our mission is not just interested in helping youth; we believe strongly in the family matrix and the importance of developing healthy parent-teen relationships. We offer coaching that interacts with parents and youth to develop a family dynamic that lends itself to healthy interactions. We know through our years of experience that the adolescent years are not easy. If you are a parent looking for help or just lost and frustrated, contact us and let's discuss some options that could bring sanity back to your home.
